SRI KRISHNA
El octavo día después de la última luna llena (del "ahora mes de
agosto") del año 3227 A. de J.C., durante la Dwapara Yuga, nace en
Mathura, un pueblo de India, Sri Krishna, quien es considerado por la
Religión Hinduista como un descenso Divino en forma humana o Purna
Avatara (Encarnación Completa), por lo cual poseía las dieciséis facetas
o poderes de la Gloria Divina.
"Por su inmenso Amor, cuando es necesario restaurar el dharma (rectitud), fomentar la virtud en el vivir, mostrar la divinidad contenida en los seres humanos y enseñar al mundo que el vicio no triunfará, el Señor desciende como Avatar".
"La cultura de la India ha enfatizado el significado interno de las escrituras de los ritos y ceremonias. Se recrea en el simbolismo, pero siempre ha alentado a los buscadores a descubrir el velo y aprender el principio encerrado en el símbolo. El Avatar en la forma de Krishna tiene vastos misterios incluidos en Él".
Sri Krishna fue el octavo hijo del matrimonio entre Vasudeva y Devaki. Devaki, su madre, era nieta de Sura, un Rey de la Dinastía Yadava, y prima hermana de Kamsa un ser oscuro, de malvados actos, quien se encontraba al mando del gobierno del pueblo de Mathura, lugar donde luego naciera Sri KrisHna.
